Eye Glasses Here

Eye glasses, spectacles, or simply glasses are frames which hold lenses that are worn in front of the human eyes for vision correction or eye protection. Some special glasses are used for watching three dimensional images or experiencing virtual reality. Modern eye glasses are typically supported by pads on the bridge of the nose and by temples which are placed over the ears. Historical glasses include the pince nez, monocle and the lorgnette.

Eye glasses were originally made from glass, but many are now made from plastic due to the danger of breakage and the heavier weight of glass lenses. The corrective lenses held in the eye glass frames, modify the focal length of the eye's pupil to reduce the effects of shortsightedness (myopia), longsightedness (hyperopia), or astigmatism. Lenses produced to conform to the prescription of an eye specialist are called prescription lenses.

Unlike a new pair of socks, eye glasses are obviously and instantly noticeable: they are out there, on your face, in front of everyone, everyday. For many people, the most important aspect of choosing eye glass frames is how they look on their face. According to the Vision Council of America (VCA), there are three keys to choosing the correct eye glass frame for your individual look. First, the frame should contrast with you facial shape. Secondly, the frame size should be in scale with your face size. And finally, eyewear should repeat your best personal feature (such as blue frames to match blue eyes.)
